Driven by a genuine love for God and Gospel music, Christopher Ervin gathered a group of talented singers and musicians to form Abraham’s Descendants Ministries. Now affectionately known as AD, the choir features a diverse roster of artists from all over the East Coast, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Florida, and Maryland. In just a few short years, they’ve built a massive following, becoming well known for their polished delivery and a unique, artistic sound that is truly their own.

The group made their national debut in 2013 at Bishop Hezekiah Walker’s Choirfest and was later featured on John P. Kee’s VIP New Artist Showcase in 2016. This momentum led to their first live recording, The Process, which debuted in 2018 and landed in the top 20 on the Billboard Gospel charts. They kept that energy going with their 2020 project, Take 2, which hit #3 on the iTunes Gospel charts. Over the years, Ervin and AD have had the incredible opportunity to share the stage with icons like Michael McDonald and Nick Jonas, as well as Gospel greats like Dr. Ricky Dillard and Jekalyn Carr.

Most recently, Christopher Ervin & AD recorded their latest project, Recover, to a sold-out crowd in Greensboro, NC. The album has already made waves nationally, reaching #3 on the iTunes Christian charts and #16 on Billboard. It also earned the group a major milestone: their first Stellar Award nomination for Traditional Choir of the Year.
